In the morning of April 21st, the Anhui Science and Technology Agency organized relevant experts to make a concluding acceptance inspection on the provincial science difficult problem-tackling project 'Developing and Demonstration Project of Efficient Self-priming Mixed Type Aerating and Plug Flow Water-treatment Plant' carried out by MCC Huatian.
The theoretical power efficiency of the efficient self-priming mixed type inverted-umbrella-type aerator developed in this project increased by 60% more than the same type of product both at home and abroad. Its energy consumption was reduced by 37.5%. The valid working water depth was increased to more than 6m and was not limited by the diameter of the impeller. The energy consumption of the connected and balanced rotating-disc type efficient aerator was reduced by 30% when compared with similar products. The stability and plug flow capacity of the few teeth difference decelerated submersible plug flow agitator was enhanced, with its energy consumption decreased to 1.786W/m3. The fruits of this project passed the science and technology achievement appraisal, with 2 items reaching international leading level and 1 item reaching international advanced level. 3 national standards and 1 industrial standard were formulated. 8 authorized patents (including 1 American patent and 3 Chinese patents for invention) were gained during R&D. One item was awarded the Gold Prize for patents in Anhui province. By establishing more than 10 demonstrating projects, this project promoted its industrialization application and achieved notable social and economic benefits.
The experts all agreed that it should pass the acceptance inspection.
